PrWM - Project Warranty Manager

Mission & Responsibilities

  • Manage (QCD) all the warranty activities (PM delegation): consignment, reliabilty&availability, problem solving, reparation under warranty and modification deployment
  • Prepare and communicate REX to the organization

Manage all the warranty activities :

  • Consignment: manage the definition and purchasing of the consignment stock
  • Reliabilty:
    • collect train failure and reparations (depot records in database), ensure failures Quality data captured
    • Monitor project reliability performance , analyse and identify gaps between products reliability and contractual targets
    • Implement reliability growth plan, ALSTOM (including PUs) and external supplier
    • Evaluate the previsionnal impact of modifications on the reliability
  • Availability: manage fleet availibility in coherence with targets, reparations to implement and logistics issues (through after sales activities)
  • Problem solving:
    • cararacterize the issues , and coordonate the investigations
    • manage problem solving with different metier, PUs and suppliers,
    • in respect of AT targets: containment, corrective actions
    • use and adjust the maintenance plan according to events and modification applied
    • use PST to follow up prolem solving
  • Reparation under warranty: manage the activities to insure spares availability, preparation of reparation (onshore&offshore) and deploy the reparations in depot
  • Modification deployment: manage the activities to insure spares availability and deploy the modification in depot and insure configuration update
  • WP Management: consolidate warranty costs, actual, engaged and forecast in order to secure EAC
  • Customer relation:
    • ensure direct customer relation for daily activities
    • contribute to prepare warranty exit protocoles
  • REX: consolidation from projects REX through regular update of database

KPI

  • Availability and reliability of products
  • reactivity to contain and solve issues (PST KPIs)
  • progress of warranty exit action plan
  • reparation progress
  • Manage Warranty Dashboards per project

Candidate Requirements

  • Educational requirements
  • Master in Engineering (Management background depending on the size of the project)
  • Technical Knowledge / Experience
  • Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project, Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated
  • Fluent in English
